On the right-hand side, the product shows a combination of wear impacts; the color is fading, the filaments curl in a cork screw manner, and start to split. Whereas our HIGH PERFORMANCE product on the left maintains its integrity.

Sunlight & UV Resistance
Polymers by themselves show only limited resistance against UV, heat, and sometimes humidity. In order to use polymers in long-term applications like sport fields, stabilizers must be added.
For years, we have been collecting the data out of a device called the Lisport tester. In the turf market, this test is nowadays accepted as the most meaningful test method.
Since a field is always exposed to wear and weathering at the same time, both should be tested on the same sample. That is why our samples are exposed to sun simulation prior to testing the abrasion resistance.
